THE FOOLISH CROW

Long time ago there was a Peepal tree in a village. In which many crows lived. One morning all the crows left the tree in search of food as usual. But one crow remained asleep.

When he got up, he saw that all the crows were gone. After this he thought of going alone in search of food.

He flew from the tree and started looking for food in the whole village. But he could not see food anywhere. After this he sat on the roof of a house. He smelled very good there.

The direction from which the scent was coming. Started going that way. He saw that an old lady was making vada sitting in the courtyard of the house. Seeing the vada, the crow's mouth watered. He was very hungry.

He wanted to eat the vada then. When he went down to the old woman, he saw that the old woman had already tied a crow. Where did the old woman do the same thing to that crow, if you tried to steal the vada, I would tie you up like this too.

The crow understood that as long as the old woman is there, she cannot steal the vada. He thought of an idea, he went behind that house and said in the voice of the children, where are you grandmother ? 

After this the old lady comes. As soon as the old woman left from there, the crow came and stole a vada and went to his tree. When he reached his nest pressing the vada in his mouth, he saw a crow in a cunning fox.

Seeing the vada, the fox's mouth watered. He started praising the crow. He said what a nice black crow. How good are its wings? How good are his eyes?

Hearing his praise, the crow was very happy and forgot everything. After this the fox said that the voice of such a good crow would also be good. He said to the crow, will you play me a song?

After this, as soon as the crow opened its mouth, the vada fell down from the tree. The clever fox picked up the vada and left from there.

The crow had come to know that the fox had fooled him. 

MORAL OF THE STORY : This story teaches us that we should avoid false praisers.
