The Elephant Rope

The Elephant Rope

A gentleman was walking through an elephant camp, and he observed that all elephants were not kept in cages or held by the chains.

But all that was holding them back from escaping the camp, was a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs

As he looked at them, he was completely confused as to why the elephants don't use their strength to break the rope and escape from the camp. They could have done it easily, but they didn't try to do it at all.

The man was curious to know the answer, so asked the trainer why the elephants Were just standing there, and never tried to escape

Then the trainer replied-

When they are too small we tie the same size rope, and at that age it's enough to hold them, As they grow up, they are conditioned that they can not break the rope, and they believe that they can not break that and the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break.

Moral of the story:

No matter how much the world tries to hold back, always continue to believe that what you want to achieve is possible.
