There was a village that had not seen good rainfall the whole year. The village well had begun to dry up and its level of water was go dow rapidly. All the villagers brought their ute and containers to store or before it completely evaporated

There also lived a very lazy man in a village. The villagers knew very well that he would never stand in line to a bucket of water for himself. When everyone had finished filling their containers, they left a little water in the well for him.

"Hey!" a villager cried out to the lazy man. "There's still some water left in the well. Fill your bucket before it's too late."

The lazy man thought. "Everyone has already filled their buckets, the water in the well is all mine anyway." And so he didn't bother to collect the water all day.

At night, when he felt thirsty, he fetched his bucket and went to draw water from the well. But of course. there was no water left. The water that the villagers had left for him had evaporated due to the sun's heat. The lazy man was thirsty all night.

On that day, he learnt a learnt a lesson that 'It is important to do things in a timely manner.'
