The Brave Jenny

Everyone was excited. It was sports day at my school. There were many games to be played. First there was race. Ted Giraffe won the race. Next was a beanbag race. Kitty Lion won the beanbag race. Then there was a hopping race. Jack Monkey won the hopping race. Fanny peacock came first in the flying race.

Poor Jenny Hippo was sad as she did not win a single race.

'I am good at nothing ,' she thought sadly. suddenly, she heard loud shouts from the pool. Jack had fallen in the pool and did not know how to swim. " Help!" he called out. Ted could not swim. But Jenny Could. She jumped in and save Jack. " I might not to be good at any game but I can swim!" She said proudly.

Everyone applauded her and she won a special prize.
