Sun And The Drought
Sun And The Drought
The sun was setting and there was a farmland nearby. A man on a bullock cart was going home, the land was barren and dry. There had been a drought!'
He saw the man go into his house and was saddened by his situation. He decided to help the poor villagers. The next day's afternoon when he was near the clouds Glide and Clyde. They waved at him, he waved back. He went to the 'Cloud council' which was headed by the Sun itself, to ask why they weren't raining on the poor farmer's farmland. They gave him a sheet of paper. It said " A heat is reason!."
He didn't understand at first, but then he realized that cloud council meant that he was giving too much heat on the farmland due to which the clouds weren't able pour rain on to the land. he decided to reduce his energy to produce enough heat so that the clouds had enough energy to pour rain over the farmland . The clouds cheered and began their work. When the farmer saw rain pouring on his farm. he was ecstatic and began planting the crops too.
A few weeks later, The Farm was green with all sorts of plants. The sun smiled at this.
