Story of The Ant And The Dove

In the scorching afternoon, a small ant, suffering from thirst, was wandering in search of water. After wandering for a long time, she saw a river and happily started moving towards the river. After reaching the bank of the river, when she saw the cold water flowing from time to time, her thirst increased. She could not go straight to the river. So she tried to drink water by climbing a stone lying on the shore. But in this effort she lost her balance and fell in the river. As soon as she fell in the water of the river, she started flowing in a strong current. She began to see her own death in front of her. Then from somewhere a leaf fell in front of her. 

Somehow she climbed on that leaf. That leaf was thrown by a pigeon sitting on a tree situated on the bank of the river, who had seen the ant falling in the water and wanted to save its life. While drifting along the leaves, the ant came to the shore and jumped to the dry land. The ant's life was saved due to the selfless help of the pigeon. She started thanking her in her heart.
