Story Of Colours..

Long long ago, when the world was just made, the Gods were always angry. They had created the world, it looked so dull and boring. It was only white during the day and only black during the night with a little bit of grey in the middle so that black and white do not bump into each other.

The Gods were unhappy because they wanted the world to look more interesting. So, they decided to look for other colours. One God was rushing here and there to look for more colours, he tripped on a stone and fell. His head hit the stone and blood rushed out. The God took a little of the blood and showed it to other Gods, they called this colour Red.

Another one started to dig deep into the earth. 'What are you doing?' asked the other gods. 'I'm trying to find the heart of the earth,' he replied, throwing all the dirt all over the place. In time, he arrived at the heart of the earth and showed it to other gods, and they called this colour brown. Another God went straight up saying that he wanted to see what colour the world was. Then he reached high up from the world, he looked down, invented blue colour. Another god, when searching different colours heard the voice of a boy laughing. He got so angry that he snatched the laughter of the boy and left him with tears, he then named the child's laugh as the yellow colour. After that, another God looked for a colour and then mistakenly mixed both the blue and yellow together and made green colour out of it. 

When the gods threw these colours into the world, in many places the colours mixed with each other and made new colours. Soon the world was filled with colours and it looked bright and cheerful. Then the gods left the world in the hands of men and women and started living in the heavens...
