The king was so harsh and cruel that he used to oppress the people of the village very badly.
He used to behave and rule over all the people of the village mercilessly.
Every week the villagers were required to pay 75% of their earning to the king and the villagers were also required to give a maximum amount of produced goods which the villagers have to produce like agricultural goods, handmade products, etc.
One day Somnath an Ayurvedic doctor of that village with 3 More of his friends planned to raise voice against the barbarism of the king.
Somnath and his friends went to the palace to talk with the king.
Going there Somnath says that "from later we will not give you money or anything, because all this money and products are the results of our hard work and we will not let them going into the vein".
If you want to have anything you have to pay for that product like others pay. Hearing that the king became angry and the king put Somnath and his friends into jail.
And the securities were ordered to torture them by using whips, sticks, etc. And like so the securities did the same. Somnath and his friends got injured very badly.
Next, the princess got stomach pain suddenly after lunch and she started crying very badly.
Got scared of that the king tried all things possible for the princess and he also called upon many doctors but all attempts were going to the vein. No one could heal the princess.
One of the advisors of the king told him about Somnath, that Somnath is also a good doctor and Somnath could be the person who can heal the princess.
Suddenly the king called upon Somnath into his room and started crying in front of him and told him shamefully to treat his daughter and if he could save her the king will do everything according to Somnath.
The king apologizes to Somnath for all his doings and begged his daughter's life.
Then Somnath said "see Rana, Now I have a chance to harm your daughter and also have the opportunity to do whatever I want and I also have the opportunity to take all things from you. your money, your ornaments, your jewelry all the things that you have, instead of saving the life of your daughter.
But I will not do that because I am not like you and I am a doctor and I have taken the pledge to save the life of people and if I do any wrong right now then what will remain the difference between you and me.
Saying that he started the treatment of the princess and the princess slowly started to respond and her health also became well slowly.
And then the king again apologizes to Somnath and he also became the good king of that village.
