I didn’t know I was designed to have such a beautiful destiny. That very day, yes, that was indeed an unexpected day. As I never visited libraries in my entire twenty seven years of life. For me, library was something terrific. Alas! But not at all from that very day. Now I would say that libraries are heaven made on earth. They truly are...as I met her there...Oops! Sorry, As I bumped into her...Let me not beat around the bush anymore. I’ll start with the unexpected and unimaginable story of mine.

The day was pleasant, I was on my bed when my friend called me. He was an archetypal nerd. A bookworm who never forgets to go to the library every day. He was not in the city. It was a saturday morning and I was lazy and indolent to the peak to even take my phone. At 11 o clock, when I finally woke up, I was dumbfounded to see forty missed calls from him. What! I knew that this cheapskate would not call me for any silly reason. I also realized that he was mad at me for not answering his calls. I called him back and do you mind to know what he said? That was indeed intolerable. But yeah! I had to do his work for ignoring his calls. This was like a corporal punishment to my ‘not willing self to go out on weekends.’ He made me do the most terrific task... You may wonder what was so difficult. I swear you might have known where he had asked me to go...Yes! to the library!

He punished me and I had to do the work of getting books for this egghead. I got ready and went to the library. My heart beat raised, and I was jittering. Without engrossing myself, I began searching the books which he sent me. As I turned around, my foot caught in the rug, I stumbled and lo! I bumped into a young girl...Probably of my age. I knocked all her books to the floor. Inspite of yelling, her eyes expressed something else which I couldn’t interpret. She was covering her face and so I was not able to see the beauty behind the veil.

Her eyes spoke stories. I wondered, was I looking so handsome? Or was I so horrendous? She didn’t even bother to take her books from the floor, rather she was gazing at me which left me insecure. Without any hesitation, I asked her the reason as to why she was glaring at me ceaselessly, to which her glittering eyes answered a lot of joyous feelings. Was she happy seeing me? Or did she know me before? I questioned her, without uttering a word, she unveiled her face, I was dumbstruck, I couldn’t believe what I just sighted. Have I really found her? Was it the God’s plan to reunite us...

This beauteous veiled maiden was my long lost twin who was separated from me a decade ago when an agonizing accident shattered our family. We lost our parents. I thought I lost her as well. But I know that we will never be apart. She was the angel of my life. A blessing sent from above. She cuddled me with teary eyes which made me very emotional and that was indeed a priceless feeling to get her back. She was in my arms...I promised her that I would be her protector and never leave her in any situation. And no matter what I do I’ll always stick to her. Sometimes you just can’t tell people how you really feel. And here I felt as if I was the luckiest and the blessed man in the entire world. She was the missing piece of my life and now she has completed the puzzle that was incomplete all this while.

Did I mention that libraries are terrifying? If I have mentioned...Pardon me...from that day libraries have become the place of daily visit not because I loved to read or refer books but my sister who turned out to be a lover of books works there.
