A day where a brother promises a sister to protect her from all the troubles and to fulfill all her desires. A day where brother gives her sister a gift and sister secretly tries to see that gift. Only a day when they don't fight like Tom and Jerry but share the laughs, smiles, selfies on the day.

The only day where they wish for each other's happiness and words that give them the strength to face anything in life.

Raksha means to protect and Bandhan means relationship; both brother and sister protect their relationship in a kind of situation, not only to that specific day but all the other days and times. They are like body and soul who can never be parted.

A day not only for brother and sister but even for those who celebrate it with cousins, it's not necessary to celebrate it with brothers only even two sisters or two brother's can celebrate it.

This day is to promise to not only a sister but all the other girls that they will protect all the girls.

It's not about protecting your sibling but it's about protecting one among the purest relationship in the world.
