Rainbow : A Short Story

Monsoon has its own Beauty. In the usual hustle on the street, one can find unusual sightings. At times touchy.

As I was walking down the street, I saw a little girl with her dog. It was a dalmatian. She was wearing a nice colorful dress.

It was a beautiful weather, light showers along with slight sunlight. I had put down my umbrella as sunshine grew. I saw a rainbow above.

Kids love rainbow. So when I told that girl to look at it, she did not react. I got curious as to why she was not surprised.

'She can't see it as it is, she's colorblind, can only see black and white', told her mother.

For a second I looked at the rainbow. Then I saw the girl. Who was now busy playing with her dog again.

It doesn't matter if she was not able to see the colors of this world. But she could see 'true Colors' of her dog as it was black and white. And it seemed as if it was world to her.

I didn't just see seven colors that day... I saw EIGHT !
