One day Ramu was beaten in the classroom by the teacher for not doing the homework on mathematics. He had a phobia for mathematics. So he was bunking the mathematics class. But that day he was caught by the teacher and asked to do the addition in front of sir. He failed to do anything about the sum. The teacher got angry and thrashed him black and blue

After the class was over Ramu didn’t return home Instead he went to the nearby well to jump inside and die. But reaching there he found some village women drawing water from the well and keeping the water pots on the ring wall of the well made in laterite stone. He was surprised to see the pit on the well walls. He asked the women, who has done these pits?, The village women explained that because of the earthen pots the pits have come out. Ramu got the answer to his surprise. 'The earthen pots continuously coming in contact with laterite stones have made pots’.

Then why can’t he do mathematics if he tries constantly and persistently????

He got the the lesson from the pit of the walls of the well and returned to study sincerely and persistently. He did and became a good student.

Now Ramu is liked by all.
