One Fine Morning, I Realized..

One Fine Morning, I Realized..

It was the morning of the 5th of September, which is famous as Teacher's Day. This day is celebrated on the account of the birthday of our second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

So the day had a normal start. After doing the daily chores I greeted and wished my first and most valuable teachers, my parents. Mom and Dad's teachings aren't bound by any syllabus and they are the ones who'll never retire. All they offer is selfless, everlasting and never-wrong education, and I want this day to be memorable for them, especially for my mother. By profession too, she is a teacher and like all her students I also want to share my gratitude to her. And what would be any better than a family outing on a wonderful afternoon?

So Papa grabbed the car keys and we decided to watch the movie, 'Mission Mangal'. While driving through the way I glanced on the gifts given by the students to Mom. I was amazed to see the poems written by seniors, flowers made from paper-quilling by class VII students. But one thing that literally caught my attention was the cute drawings and lovely messages by students of classes I and II. Though not even it amused me but it also made me wonder something. All the messages had mainly one thing in common, that was 'I love you, ma'am'. Isn't it strange that young kids who don't even know someone for mere more than 2-3 months can use such a strong emotion? For us it would take an entirety to use this emotion for someone; after removing all the fake masks, the social judgments, the hypocrisy and then after filtering it to the last extent if something is left, then there's some space for love.

But, nonetheless, coming back to the children, there is nothing negative in them and I bet they exactly know their intensity of the word 'hate', which we use so normally among ourselves, and that's why they won't even think of saying something like it. Even the 'KATTI' of them is temporary and is just a way to express that, "Yes! I care for you." It makes me joyful to comment that, "Yes, children are the purest form of Gods."

But on the other hand, it makes me sad that with growing age and increasing mental strength, unfortunately, the distance between us and the Almighty is increasing and it is extending the search for Him in the outer materialistic world. I guess there's a teacher in everyone, even the students as well. Ah! God I wish the children will rule the world in future. LOL
