ON HER GALAXY
ON HER GALAXY
Look, I've come up with a new story
Girl dreams of different world
Lying on the roof beneath the dark sky.
With open eyes gazing stars
Or, sharing secrets to the moon and skies.
You'll often find her along with books
Her mind must be fantasizing world
Where she's sharing sorrows and pleasures
While flying with birds or somewhere
playing with small creatures.
Ah! Such a distracted soul I've ever met
Sitting in a classroom goes into
imagination.
Teacher's voice plays like a background song
While she's busy swimming with fishes
Feeling the waves of the ocean.
She didn't leave the examination hall
Touring universe while giving science paper.
A lot of complaints rise against her
And she was rushed to the cabin of principle.
"So inattentive girl," says the teacher,
While she replies with a soft note
"I went to visit astronauts, discussing,
Why we couldn't able to see sun
Just like moon?".
