My Pet Crow

My Pet Crow

There is an unknown big tree just outside my residence in my colony. According to my neighbor, it is a type of cherry tree. There are small berry-like fruits in it, in which neither birds nor humans are interested. Nobody takes them. They fall and spread on the ground. Crows live in a large number on that tree along with some other birds. We live on the first floor of a house. The dense upper part of the tree is in front of my balcony and its branches touch my balcony.

It is one of my wife's sacraments to feed animals and birds. She gives something to eat to the crows too.

The surprising thing is that hundreds of crows and other birds live on that tree, but one crow has monopolized the food which we keep on the balcony for birds. Smaller birds don't dare come to the balcony. Sometimes if some other crow comes to my balcony at his time, he fights and drives him away.

This is also amazing that In the morning, afternoon, and evening, at the fixed time of our breakfast, lunch, and evening tea, he sits on the porch of the balcony of our house and starts cawing and flies away with whatever we give to eat.

I laugh sometimes that people keep colorful birds, birds like parrots, mynahs, or pigeons.

I have got a pet crow here. He comes every day at a fixed time and rightfully asks for his share of food. For this, he walks in front of the balcony door. At that time his gestures are very innocent. The crow is considered a very clever bird. It is also very alert. Sometimes try to go close to a crow, it is a far cry to catch, it will fly away only after seeing you coming towards it.

The crow that comes to my house confidently comes very near to us.

To tell the truth, earlier the crow's speech used to sound hoarse. Now I feel some sweetness too in his speech.

Nowadays meeting with people is almost non-existent because of modern culture .and corona That's why it feels good when that crow comes. It seems that there is someone familiar, who meets regularly.
