Monday Morning......

November 25th

It is 15 degrees Celsius here. The alarm rings at 6 am and I hit the snooze button for 'n' number of times till it is 7 am. The soft, cozy blanket is so warm and I just don't feel like leaving it. 

And then I finally make up my mind and jump out of bed at 7:20 am. I know it is Monday and it's going to be a busy day. I have to leave for school by 8:15 am and here I am still sitting and writing this. 

I quickly rush to the bathroom and guess what I see? I had soaked clothes to wash last night. Pshhh!! I am going to super late. I start brushing my teeth and put the kettle on. I start washing and quickly rinse and finish brushing and washing clothes. And the time is 7:50 am. Breakfast time but I am not ready. I rush to my wardrobe to check what to wear. None of my clothes are in good shape. I pull out something and quickly dress myself. And woof! I am ready by 8:05 am. 

 

I rush to the dining table to grab breakfast and we get indulged in the morning chat. And alas! 8:20 am it is. ".....Where are my socks? I have not filled my bottle. I have to prepare my oats......." I live away from home so I have to do it all. 

I finish everything and I am in School right before the assembly. 

This is the madness that runs on my head these Winter mornings. And when they are Monday mornings, Don't ask!!
