Little boys in standard A dashed out of their classroom giggling in excitement. Their class teacher picked out from the lot a character for everyone to choose. The teacher opened the fold and read out the name to the class.

"Me, It's me. I am the Samson." Little Arthur jumped from his chair screaming loudly.

"Arthur, please don't shout. Otherwise, I may ask Richard to be the Samson."

"No. Never" Arthur pushed Richard from his place. Richard turned around and punched Arthur on his back. Arthur's curly hair protected his head from hitting on the floor.

"Stop" Merlyn pulled the boys apart and made them sit in different corners. Panting for breath, she went to her chair and sat down with a thump. Both the boys looked at each other with hatred.

"Jesus, I don't know from where you get that strength." Merlyn looked at Arthur. Unmindful of her glares, he was busy flipping through a book.

During the break, a huge crowd gathered around the notice board.

"It must be something interesting" Arthur moved through the crowd and looked at the notice board. He could see the title 'Who Am I' written in big letters in the centre of the notice board. Numerous childhood photos of the employees pinned diagonally on the board looked at them.

"Hi, Richard, come here, something for you to see" Arthur screamed at Richard who was sipping his coffee in the pantry.

Richard had to edge his way through the crowd to reach near the notice board.

"Richard, it is not difficult for me to identify you. I know you from my childhood" Arthur grinned at him.

"Hm, but I could not identify you" Richard replied.

"We have time" Arthur looked around the young men and women who were discussing in whispers how to identify.

Tucking in his favorite shirt, Arthur looked at the mirror. He always took time to groom himself and look smart every day. He took the maximum time to trim his beard and he always felt proud to boast that his strength is in his beard. Whatever it may be, he never failed to visit his favorite salon and get the beard trimmed.

The barber at the salon helped Arthur to get a different type of beard every time.  During leisure hours while checking for the latest hairstyle, he checked for Arthur also. He helped Arthur to straighten his curly hair and choose a type of beard that made him look like a gentleman of the year. Arthur took the maximum care to make his hair look straight for his childhood photo showed his vigorous curly hair hushed around his face like a gentle halo. The day came for revealing "Who Am I". No one could identify Arthur for he looked completely different now. Arthur received additional applause and gift for being the difficult person to identify and everyone cheered him when they revealed his identity.

Arthur grinned through his beard and received the gift cheque happily.
