Linda's Christmas

Linda was a beautiful girl, but her character wasn’t as good as her looks. Her parents would have appropriately guided her, but they didn’t.

Our story begins on the night of Christmas Eve. Linda walked up to her parents, and demanded “I want to see Santa! Take me to the North Pole right now! I want to get whatever I wish for; that’s why!”

Her parents were so shocked by their daughter’s request that they said, “No!”

Linda couldn’t tolerate ‘NO.’ Without even thinking, she announced, “If I don’t get what I want, I’ll just get it myself!”

Before her parents could even say a word, Linda raged out and continued to the nearby railway station through the snow. She hopped on a stopped train, and a heavenly man noticed her and asked her whereabouts.

The girl replied, “I want to see Santa and get whatever I wish for. Now, Buzz off.”

Hearing that, the heavenly man said, “Dear child, there is no real Santa. It is all our hope and belief. Santa is in everyone’s heart. People with good hearts, good thoughts can see him. People who respect their elders can see him.”

Rubbing her hair, the heavenly man said, “Close your eyes, child, and you can see him within yourself.”

With tears in her eyes, the girl realized her true self, and she disembarked the train.

On Christmas day, she received a box that had a note in it. The message said, ‘Be happy with what you have.’
