Keep Your Bucket List Full
Keep Your Bucket List Full
This is a story of a girl, Meena, who was afraid to dream: She believes, a dream makes your heart race, and once it is conquered; again, the same cycle repeats, whereas; if we fail the dissatisfaction will start killing you from inside!"
One day, Meena's grandfather asked her, " What's your dream?" She said, " Nothing!" Grandfather: " Why don't you have dreams?" She replied, " It will cause me a price, 'my happiness'," and then she illustrated her reason. Grandfather with a subtle smile: " Let me take you to the magic pond." Meena said: " Is there a magic pond?" Grandfather: " I am leading a happy life only because of magic pond, she has blessed me with so many things!" Meena didn't utter a word, but she was unable to stop making fantasies of magic pond.
Next day, she agreed to visit magic pond. Grandfather took her to the nearest pond, and asked her to make a wish. She made a wish, after a few moments, grandfather said, it is not the magic pond. Meena got stunned and asked an explanation to grandfather. Grandfather said: " I owe you an explanation, but tell me first, how did you feel when I told about magic pond." Meena said: I felt thrilled, and the next day, I couldn't stop thinking about what was beneath the surface of the pond."
Grandfather said: "Did you ever feel the burden or fear of failure" Meena said: "No! I was curious to see, and feel the miracles of magic." Grandfather said: "This is what dream does, It gives life a purpose, a reason to wake up every morning; yes, it is true that, cycle repeats, but it gives a meaning to our journey, and don't worry! if some gets fail, your heart will never stop dreaming, so you never stop chasing."
Meena realised the importance of setting dreams, and that day she created a new dream in her mind; to keep her bucket list full!
