Jagu loves swimming in the cool water during summer and anybody would love to do so if you are a turtle.

Jagu lives in the forest with his companions and loves to swim and whenever his companions warn about any danger he just hides under his shell and as its forests are very dangerous in itself.

Jagu never cared much as he always knew if there was any danger, his friends would warn him, many days passed and to their surprise no Crocodiles or any Animal came near the pond to drink water as many animals used to come there to drink water as it was fresh and cold all the time.

Jagu's companions were very happy to live there and used to swim in the cold water all the day as there was no sign of danger.

Jagu didn't seem happy and one of his companions asked the reason for his sadness, but Jagu didn't tell anything and kept quiet. Jagu had a plan in his head.

Jagu didn't like his companions anymore as they were many in number and always used to swim and play in cold water as he did and Jagu used to think because of his companions the water might turn warmer soon or the pond might dry and he used to think the pond belonged to him and not his companions.

He wantedly fought with his companions for no reason and asked them to leave his pond and go to the small water pond which was a few metres away. His companions told that this was a huge pond and had alot of place and also Jagu alone could not protect himself from the other animals and the huge pond is the main source of water for those animals and they could come anytime, Jagu laughed and told, "it's my life and nobody has to look after me, I'm strong enough and I think the other animals have found a new source of water and don't like this pond", the companions left the pond and Jagu was alone. Jagu loved staying alone in this pond.

Next day the weather was very warm and the animals came to drink water and first went into the small pond where Jagu's companions lived now, one of the companions saw a tiger coming and warned the others and they hid in the shell, the tiger thought them as dirty stones and moved, thinking water to be dirty.

The tiger remembered about the cold water and took steps to go there and there he saw Jagu swimming and playing in the cold water, the Tiger slowly moved forward and as nobody was there to warn Jagu and Jagu was busy swimming and playing, the Tiger attacked Jagu and ate him up, Jagu shouted and cried but nobody could hear him and he became the meal of the Tiger.
