It's a holiday but a Holi Day

I feel really proud to be an Indian for different reasons each time. One of the reason is Holi which we're blessed to celebrate. A festival of colours that brings joy, positivity, prosperity and love among family, relatives, friends and neighbours. This colour means a lot to our lives. It has the power to make a broken heart, a colourful and joyous one. People can't hold back their smile when the colour touches one. We also have a tradition of touching our elders feet with colours of Holi to make them colourful and much more happier as we, children are. With the colours, water balloons and water guns, elders too can't keep hold of their inner child and run out to play with us.

This year 2023 is the best holi celebrated in my life till now, in my school as well as locality. On 3rd March it was my last day of grade 5 in school before Holi. After dispersal we all turned ourselves into colourful aliens with different colours, red, green, pink, yellow, blue, purple etc. All my friends, Purabi, Prasanthi, Subhodeep, Kaulik, Ayush, Asmit, Pranjal & including me of course had a really nice photo too. It was just fantastic!

Then on 7th March I enjoyed Holi with all my family, neighbours and also locality friends. Six of us were there and we had a lot of fun. We made our own weapons for attacking people, water balloons along with water guns. We threw them at others making them aliens just like us. We loved it!

This two days will be such a lovely memorable days for me through my whole life. They weren't just only holidays but also Holi Days!
