But when were we truly doomed? Was it when the escape pod arrived, or when he killed a man or when he tried to rule the world because he thought he was superior? Well, let’s get to the very beginning of it; it all started before the world war, the forced nuclear disarmament, it started in 2019; when Iraq and the US were at war engaging all weapons to be VICTORIOUS, not caring about the innocent lives lost and the IRREPERABLE damage done to the environment, when an escape pod arrived during a meteor shower. It had landed in a small town in Nevada.

Luckily, the US had a secret base established there, Area 51, where they had hidden alien technology, so the troops geared up and approached the pod. What they saw was only a shadow of a deranged ‘Being’ coming out of the pod before vanishing into the sky. Three years had passed since, the sighting of the Being, yet the world was on fire; the war grew intense as no country ceased fire, global warming melted almost all the ice caps and glaciers, water levels rose tremendously, flooding almost 60% of habitable land, consequently the populations dropped, famine and disease outbreaks increased, but THE SAVIOUR HAD EMERGED. The Being came out of hiding to fight crime and help the ones in danger and he had taken the name of Ultraman. The US Government waited for confirmation if he was the ‘Being’ from the pod, so they planned to spy on him for further information.

After 2 weeks, they had confirmation and planned to arrest him but the ‘Being’ and escaped. After a while, he had reduced crime around the world to less than 1% and he had taken the weapons from the soldiers fighting, in the war between Iraq and US; he even managed to control climate change; by extinguishing all the fires, planting a billion trees, and refreezing all the glaciers and polar ice. The world saw him as a hero, but all the world leaders saw him as a tyrant, but they knew if the tried to kill him there would be a serious backlash which would be more devastating, so they decided to go along. 10 years later, the Being was known as Tim Drake and he had a good life with his wife Laurel Lane, co-founded the Peace Force which included Red Hood, Quick, Star Woman, Green Guardian, Mazash and many others, but as all good things must come to an end.

The clown, a deranged villain, set a nuclear warhead in Metropolis and connected the warhead’s detonator to Laurel’ heart. When Ultraman came to rescue her, the Clown hallucinated him using the palladium laced fear toxin, making him think Lois is his arch enemy Devastator. So he went ahead and took her to space to save the citizens, only to realize that he killed the love of his life; setting of the ; he ripped out Clown’s heart with his bare hands killing him. He vanished for one month, grieving in the Fortress of Solitude realizing the horror and desolation of war, he booked a press conference with the help of Star Woman, revealing his identity and demanding a worldwide cease fire.

However, the world governments retaliated only to see their resistance is futile, moreover, the US government made a serious mistake by kidnapping Tim’s parents with the help of Mirror Master, ordering him to stop. During all this, the Peace Force decided to stand by Ultraman as he had saved the world countless times, so they went onto stop any ongoing wars and find Mirror Master; they found Tim’s parents but Ultraman noticed that Red Hood wasn’t helping them, only to find out that he doesn’t stand with him. Meanwhile, Aquaman disagrees with Star Woman which leads to a war between the land and the seven seas. But Ultraman puts a stop to this and forces Aquaman to submit to his will and go back to the ocean. Many people oppressed Tim’s methods but they were imprisoned, making Quick rethink his decisions. Seeing all this, Darkseid one of Ultraman’s greatest foes, plans to attack thinking he had gone soft; sending his parademons army in heavily populated areas via boomtubes, only to find them all killed in an instant with Ultraman’s heat vision.

However, Ultraman asked Lex Luther to create pills that grant super strength by using Tim’s Promethueusian DNA. Red Hood finds out about this goes to the Fortress of Solitude with his rebellion. They try to steal the formula of the pill quietly but Ultraman finds out about this and engages; taking the battle outside where Star Woman broke Captain Atom’s armor unleashing his true power. Realising he is about to blow with the power of 10 NUCLEAR BOMBS, Captain Atom flies of into the sky with the hope to kill Ultraman only to fail; in this explosion Star Woman took some severe damage putting her into a coma.

As The Archer was the only one in the Fortress, he tried to take some of those pills but they all were burnt by Ultraman’s heat vision. He tried to shoot him but the arrow ricocheted and almost killed Star Woman. Seeing this Ultraman was driven by rage and beated The Archer till his death. However, The Archer managed to save one of the pills and he shot it out before his last breath. The Fortress withdrew its help to Ultraman as he had killed. In deep space, there was Sinestro and his yellow guardians witnessing the deaths of innocents by the hands of Ultraman, hence he decided to manipulate him so that he would fight the green guardians and kill them. So Sinestro comes to Earth to meet Ultraman, but as Ultraman sees him he launches at him, while Sinestro tells him that he is not here to fight but to warn him as they are coming. The guardians sensed a disturbance on Earth from Oa, and they come to visit with Guy Gardener, another green guardian, from Earth. Sinestro tells Ultraman to ask Ganthet when he comes to meet him that if the Guardians could have saved his planet, Prometheus, and people; to which he replies, “Yes”.

So Ultraman tells him to leave but the Ganthet warns him to not to try and rule the people of the Earth, while leaving he tells Hal Jordan to come with him. At Oa, all the green guardians capture Hal and put him in a cell, after he tries to warn Ultraman that the green guardians are going to attack, but John Stewart gives Hal his ring back. They both manage to warn Ultraman that the green guardians are going to attack so Ultraman tells Sinestro to gather all the yellow guardians so they can defeat their common enemy. Guy Gardener tries to reason with Ultraman but he doesn’t listen and breaks his arm, so the war begins with Mojo shooting his laser at the yellow guardians killing a quarter of them. Guy and Hal get in an argument where Guy is cornered by the yellow guardians but Ganthet protects him and disintegrates a dozen of yellow but Sinestro and tells Sinestro that there is someone more important than him and Ganthet flies off to fight Ultraman where he releases an energy pulse which severely injures Ultraman and kills countless yellow guardians.

Meanwhile, Hal is fighting Guy and Guy is killed by Hal, this is when he broke his oath and has his ring taken away from him. Seeing this opportunity, Sinestro gives Hal a yellow ring and Hal becomes a YELLOW GUARDIAN. When Ultraman was falling to the ground, he was intercepted by Black Canary who hit him with a massive Canary Cry and then shot him in the chest with a palladium bullet. With so many yellow rings around, one of them chose Ultraman as its host, with the help of the ring, he removed the bullet and killed Black Canary with his heat vision, not knowing that she was live broadcasting this; everyone feared Ultraman making him THE GOD OF FEAR. Then using his new power, he killed all the green guardians, the Guardians, and destroyed their rings. Ultraman and his regime grew stronger over time as the rebellion had lost most of its members in the Guardian War, they had to go into hiding for 5 years and recruit people so they could fight Ultraman.

Over the years, they managed to disable Cyborg, capture Robin and Hawkgirl and make Quick realise his mistake and join the rebellion leaving Ultraman alone, after he killed Mazash, Black Adam and Sinestro because they didn’t agree with him. Red Hood was able to create a suit which was meant to kill Ultraman, if necessary, the suit was laced with palladium, it had a palladium laced fear toxin grenade, palladium Boomerangs, palladium gun and a pure palladium spear and Star Woman’s shield. Red Hood, Quick, Zatana and Batwoman finally came out of hiding to end the fight ONCE AND FOR ALL, but Ultraman wasn’t alone, he had an entire army of soldiers who had taken the strength pills. Quick created time remnants to help them, Zatana called magical beings from all Earths, the entire GCPD had taken the pills to help and the war began with the GCPD and the soldiers killing each other. In the end, only Quick, Zatana and Red Hood remained to fight Ultraman; Zatana went first as Ultraman is weak against magic but she could not defeat him as the yellow ring protected him, resulting in Ultraman killing her with his ring. As Red Hood didn’t account for Zatana to not injure Ultraman, he went back to the bat cave to get Hal Jordan’s ring from his secret vault. Quick brought Quicks of the different Earths however they all were slain and they couldn’t injure him severely. Leaving, Quick with no choice, but to create more time remnants, to fight Ultraman.

They all could injure him but before they could remove this ring the RED DEATH arrived and killed all the time remnants. Red Death took Quick into the speed force and imprisoned him there as he had altered time too much. When Red Hood arrived he saw nothing but blood and dust with Ultraman still standing. He threw 2 of the grenades at Ultraman but it didn’t affect him as he was protected by his yellow ring’s aura, leaving only 1 of the grenades. Ultraman knew that he was immune to his weapons and he approached Red Hood slowly and arrogantly. At that time, Red Hood removed the green ring from his utility belt and wore it. Ultraman was shocked as he thought he destroyed all the green rings. With the ring, Red Hood’s attacks were effective as he was FULL OF WILL; the palladium in his armor damaged his body and he was stunned, he used this opportunity to remove his ring and destroy it. With Ultraman at his knees, he asked him if he would yield, he wouldn’t kill him and he would give him a chance to prove that he would change; however Ultraman tricked Red Hood into thinking he would change and used his heat vision to CUT OFF THE FINGER ON WHICH HE WORE THE RING, at that time, Red Hood realized there no going back from this, it will only end with the death of either of them.

Ultraman charged at Red Hood and threw his gun and spear away, when he went for the grenade, Red Hood countered him and kicked him in the gut, then 2 hooks one left, another right; then Ultraman caught his next punch, and threw him in the wall nearby; Red Hood reached for his grenade and threw it at him, weakening him intensively, he then got up and started to beating him up; he was just about kill him but the gas wore off, and Ultraman retaliated with throwing Red Hood through 2 walls, he then beat him before he could even react, he then threw him into a car, not realizing the spear was there; he then used his heat vision to kill him but Red Hood used Star Woman’s shield to protect himself, seeing him use that shield, Ultraman was furious and he charged at him in full rage; Red Hood used this opportunity to counter it and stab him with 2 of the Boomerangs, as Ultraman fell backwards, he threw more Boomerangs into his abdomen, as Ultraman fell, Red Hood reached for his spear, Ultraman saw Red Hood’s severed finger, he then removed the ring from it and wore it himself; he used it to remove the Boomerangs and he then walked towards Red Hood with murderous intent; Red Hood removed his gun and he shot all the bullets at him, only to be deflected by the ring; but the ring rejected him as Ultraman was corrupted and the ring flew away; using this opportunity Red Hood did what he had to do to end it once and for all, HE DROVE THE PALLADIUM SPEAR INTO ULTRAMAN’S CHEST KILLING HIM.

With the Man of Steel’s DEATH, RED HOOD sat near his BEST FRIEND’S lifeless body mourning for the DEATH OF BILLIONS AND HIS CLOSEST FRIENDS.
