Amar didun er bari, just remembering golden days spend during summer vacations in Nani's home. It was in Salt Lake Kolkata. Small flats, a beautiful green park, and some slides, oh what a mind-blowing experience. Early morning Nani means didun and I go to the nearest small market we buy fresh fish mostly rohu or Katla, then we buy vegetables she never forgets to take green veggies like spinach, Pui saag. Then we came back to the home nanaji prepared tea for us, hot tea sip with Marie biscuits. Then the maid comes she cleaned the house and went to prepare breakfast mostly alur tarkriand parantha or bread butter. Then mom and dad wake up. We ate breakfast, then I used to do my holiday homework. In the afternoon rice, fish gravy, one dry veg, daal lunch was simple but very delicious. In the evening we walk to c.k market we ate corn, fish cutlet, fish samosa, egg rolls followed by sweet like malpua, langcha, chanar jilipi. Then we back to the house and see some Bengali serial and then time for dinner chapati, sabji, milk, and mango. The most precious moment was when Nani applied pure coconut oil Shalimar and followed by sweet stories. There was no mobile but we were happy. I feel proud to live that life.
