Clarissa's New Job

Clarissa just turned 15 and she wanted a job her friends Katie and Joan had jobs, they worked at the movie theater. She didn't know what she wanted to do just yet but she put ads in the paper to baby sit. Her mom came in the living room Clarissa I'm going to work I get off at 5 and going to the grocery store. What do you have planned for today? Well sit around and wait on the phone to ring, hopefully it rings soon so I can work. She said. Well be patient it will ring have a good day her mom said. Clarissa went into the kitchen and grabbed some water and next thing she knows the phone rung. She answered the phone and it was a lady named Mrs. Abbott. Hello she said is this Clarissa? Yes Ma'am it is how are you doing today? I'm doing good I was reading the paper this morning and was wondering if you had a spot open to baby sit this afternoon? I have a lunch date. Yes I actually do how many kids do you have? I have 2 twin girls there 6 there name is allison and Callie. Okay see you soon. Clarissa was super excited!! She jumped up and down for joy. She couldn't wait. Then the phone rung and it was for another job this afternoon at 6 it was Mrs. Jane son Timmy they lived down the street. 

That afternoon came quick and the kiddos were being dropped off. She made sure she had games and drinks and things they were gonna have fun!! 

By the end of the day Clarissa was exhausted. After all the kiddos had gone home she counted the money that she had made, she made $85 dollars she was happy about that. She was going to start saving her money so she can buy things she wanted. The whole week next week was booked full with jobs. She was excited all she could think about was the money that she'd be making. She was so glad that she finally turned 15 she's been waiting on that day forever it seems!!!
