Bura Mat Mano Holi Hai
Bura Mat Mano Holi Hai
I was sleeping like a polar bear. Someone knocked on the door. I opened the door with half sleepy eyes. There was a blue color-splashed and one of my colleagues shouted Bura Mat Mano Holi Hai.
Then one by one painted my face, legs, arms, and body with colors of Holi.
I have started enjoying it and taken some colors and started rubbing on their faces.
We started running from each other with excessive color powders on our clothes.
If you are in Rajasthan around Holi you must visit some fort or a gathering place. Everything looks like a canvas. The walls, people, clothes, streets everything appears painted. When we all went to Jaisalmer Fort I found Showrya there.
We have a clash running for months so we drifted apart. Even though we live under the same roof we do not talk. Not even Hi or Bye. He came and rubbed as many different colors on my face by shouting Bura Mat Mano Holi Hai. I have also forgotten fights between us and ran behind him to return.
I grabbed his hair and filled it with yellow color.
Everywhere a lot of foreigners are playing Holi. They also became part of our customs and we all were enjoyed playing Holi. Meanwhile, I have observed we Indian guys trying to get cozy with Foreign ladies by asking selfies and rubbing colors. Our Indian girls are busy in exchanging hugs with Foreign guys.
As per legend, Holi celebrated as a victory of good over evil. I found this Holi given a message that we can leave ego for some good friends. I can never forget the memories of Holi in Jaisalmer Fort.
