Gita-Mahatmya

By following the instructions of the Bhagavad Gita properly, one can easily get rid of all fears and anxieties. By being free from fear and sorrow in this life, one can attain Chimmaya Svarup in the next life.

"If one recites the Bhagavad-gita sincerely and with great seriousness, by the grace of God, the result of all his past sins does not affect him."

"One can purify himself by bathing in water every day, but if we take only one bathe in the Ganges water of the Bhagavad-gita, the defilement of material life is completely destroyed."

Since the Bhagavad Gita is the spoken word of the God Lord Krishna Himself, reading this book does not require reading any other Vedic literature. Regular listening and chanting of Bhagavad Gita with deep devotion and sincerity naturally develops our inner devotion to God. In today's world people are so busy with various activities that it is not possible for them to read all Vedic literature. There is no need to read all the Vedic literature. Only by reading Bhagavad Gita can one understand the essence of all Vedic knowledge, because Bhagavad Gita is the essence of Vedas and this Gita is the word of advice given by God Himself.

"Drinking the water of the Ganges is guaranteed liberation, and what more is there to be said about him who has drunk the holy Piyush of the Bhagavad Gita?" The Bhagavad Gita is the Amritsar of the Mahabharata, spoken by Lord Krishna himself, the original Vishnu. (Gita- mentioned as originating from Lord's lotus feet. Of course there is no difference between Lord's face and feet. But we do not find it,, so it’s difficult to understand that Bhagavad Gita is more important than Ganga.

“ In today's world people are yearning for one scripture, one God, one religion and one science. Therefore, let the Bhagavad Gita be the single scripture for the people of the whole world.

Shaunaka said - O Suta, describe the greatness of the Gita as Vyasadev described it. ..

Suta said - Sir, the greatness of Gita is very secret. No one has the power to say it correctly.

Sri Krishna knows it best, but Arjuna, Vyasadeva, Shukadeva, Yajnavalkya and Janaka Raja know some of it.

Listen to what I have heard from the mouth of Vyasadev.

The Upanishads are like cows, Krishna became the milker of those cows. Arjuna was the calf of that cow and the milk of that cow became nectar as Gita's advice.

Shri Krishna was giving the Gita as Arjuna's charioteer. I bow down to Shri Krishna for that.

A person who wants to cross the ocean of worldly form can cross happily with the help of Gitarupa-Tarani.

A person who wants to attain liberation without reading the Gita is ignorant. Baal also mocked him.

One who recites or listens to the Gita day and night is not a human but a god.

If you know the Gita, you will know the Brahman. Knowing the Brahman naturally leads to devotion.

Eighteen chapters of Gita. There is talk of devotion and liberation. If you can know that, you will be gradually purified.

Gita Shastra- Bathing with reverence in water destroys sins, but irreverence destroys everything.

A person who does not recite the Gita will fail.

A person who does not know the greatness of Gita is ignorant. His life is a failure.

 

In the Gita Shastra, one who does not have a mind, his knowledge, knowledge giver, vows and devotion are all in vain.

He who does not understand the meaning and recites the Gita, his knowledge is the knowledge of Asura. It is fruitless.

The Gita is religious. It gives all knowledge. There is nothing more sacred than it.

One who recites the Gita on the festival of Vishnu, the enemy can never do him any harm.

Reciting the Gita Shastra near the Shalagram, in the temple, in the Tirthasnan, on the banks of the river brings great luck.

As much as Devakinandan is satisfied with reading the Gita, he is not satisfied with the sacrifices.

The house where Gita is worshiped every day. He/ she never sufferers in problems and no evil can enter in the house.

In that house spiritual, physical and original divine - this kind of sorrow cannot come.

Daily reading of the Gita does not lead to explosions, but to devotion to Krishna.

Recitation of Gita always creates friendship with everyone.

Gitapathi remains sinless even after committing great sins and super sins.

Even if the Gitapathi indulges in immorality and gluttony, sin does not touch him.

As a result of reading the Gita, all the sins committed by the Gitapathi knowingly or unknowingly are lost.

Even if the Gitapathi eats wherever or accepts alms from wherever, he does not indulge in sin.

If the reader of the Gita unjustly takes away this world, as a result of the reading of the Gita, that sin will also be destroyed.

A person whose mind is always fixed on the Gita is a scholar and an activist.

He who is spectacular, rich, yogi and wise, he is Vedartha seer and pilgrim.

The house where the Gita is kept is the essence of Sarvatirtha.

One who recites the Gita daily is protected by the gods during his lifetime and after his death.

Wherever the Gita is recited, Lord Krishna is present along with Nardadi devotees.

Where the Gita is discussed, Sri Krishna is present along with Radha.

Shri Krishna said - O Arjuna, Gita is my heart, Gita is my knowledge, Gita is my best ball.

Gita is my best place. Gita is my supreme, Gita is the most mysterious thing, Gita is my guru.

I take refuge in the Gita. Gita is my life. I observe Triloka by sheltering Gita.

Gita is my Brahma Vidya. Gita is ineffable, traditional and matrirupa.

The names of the Gita are Gita, Ganga, Savitri, Sita, Satya, Patibrata, Brahmabali, Brahmavidya, Trisandhya, Mukti-Gehini, Ardhamatra, Chitananda, Bhabhaghani, Bhrani-Nashini, Vedatrayi, Parnanda, Tatvarthjnanamanjari.

A person who recites the Gita with a fixed mind attains Siddhi knowledge and attains supreme status after death.

If you are unable to read the entire Gita, even if you read half of it, you will get the result of God-Dan.

If one-third is recited, the result of Somayoga is obtained. And if you read one part of the sixth, you get the results of bathing in the Ganges.

If you read two chapters of Gita every day, you will live in Indraloka for a lifetime.

If you read one chapter of Gita every day, you will get Rudruloka.

If you read half a chapter or a quarter of the Gita every day, you will live for hundreds of years.

Even if you read at least one verse of Gita daily, you will live in Chandraloka for a year.

One who dies after reciting two verses of the Gita, attains supreme status after death.

If even a great sinner listens to the Gita, his great sins are destroyed, he becomes a redeemer.

He who sacrifices his life with the book of Gita lives in Vaikuntha with Lord Vishnu.

A person who dies taking a chapter of Gita with him takes birth as a human being in the next life.

A person who dies reciting "Gita" will have good fortune.

Any work started by reciting the Gita is flawlessly completed.

After reciting the Gita in Pitrasraddha, the father is satisfied and goes to heaven.

The fathers are satisfied with the reading of the Gita and bless their sons.

If you donate Gita with arrow tail, the giver's wish will be fulfilled immediately.

Gifting the Gita with gold to a Brahmin does not lead to rebirth.

Brahmaloka is attained by donating one hundred Gita.

If you donate Gita book, you live with Lord Vishnu for seven years.

He who does not listen to the meaning of the Gita while staying near, is born again and again as a pig.

He who steals the Gita will fail in his Gita reading.

One who does not enjoy listening to the Gita, his Gita reading is in vain like the labor of a madman.

Lord Srihari accepts whatever he donates after listening to the Gita.

By appeasing the reciter of the Gita with clothes, Lord Srihari was pleased with it.

Suth said - Shri Krishna said this Gita Mahatma is very old. Reciting Mahatmya after reading Gita gives proper results.

One who recites the Gita and recites the greatness of the Gita or listens to the Gita with reverence, attains supreme speed.

He who listens to the greatness of the Gita along with the explanation of the Gita, his virtue results in all happiness in the three worlds.
