An Autobiography Of A Christmas Tree

Hello friends, I am a Christmas tree. Let me tell you about my life. I was given birth when my mother was being cut down and the seeds got scattered from the trunk and one of them gave birth to me. There in the forest, I grew. I had no friends for all my other brothers and sisters died. Then before one Christmas I was bought by two people and put for sale. I was bought by an old woman for Christmas Eve. Then afterwards she planted me in her front yard.

Now I am as big as the whole building. Also, I am so happy now for I am giving so much oxygen to all the people. I am fifteen years old now.

I hope in the future people don’t cut me down for their own greed to make a mall or to lay an electricity line. I just hope that they don’t cut trees anymore for though we give them oxygen and other important things but they cut us down. I hope people understand this.
