A Sweet Dish In Our Bitter
A Sweet Dish In Our Bitter
Friends are a sweet dish in our bitter life. We all need friends at our school, we require them while we eat, they are integral for fighting, they are necessary for helping and they also aid to design good memories.
It was in the vernal season, after our annual examination that we four friends devised of spending a day together which would refresh us. Instead of resting our limbs and watching a movie, we found that visiting a park or some places like that would be better.
Meghla called me in the morning, "Hey! Adrija, are you ready?" I was almost dressed up, so I answered a yes, took my bag, had a light breakfast and went out to enjoy. We four met at the clock tower and taking a cab, reached Eco Park within half an hour.
Although, except Manishka, we all had been to Eco Park formerly but still thought of visiting there again as that is an examplary location for enjoying.
It was 11am, and Monali cried, "Go, grab your tickets!" "We are going to have loads of jolification". I quickly bought the tickets and we all entered.
We all were as free as birds, gossiping, singing, clicking, playing, running etc. The fourth member of our group, Sneha cried in amazement, "Look there is the rose garden". The roses did not look very fresh as winter had gone away but still the white roses persuaded us to praise for their beauty
Then, we boated in the loch, soaking the aroma of the cool breeze and hearing the lapping of water. It was of great fun. I said, "Can we click pictures?"Everyone agreed and then there was only one sound 'click', 'click', 'click'.
It was time for our lunch, so, under a shaded place, we all sat and had our flavoursome food along with chocolate ice-creams.
Then, we headed towards the biggest attraction of the park, "The seven wonders of the world". Though, we knew that those were just models of the real ones but we could not prevent the joy and excitement. China to Egypt, Italy to Brazil, it was a great tour!
Manishka said, 'I am buying a packet of chips, what else do you all desire to purchase?" I said, "A bottle of juice". Sneha retorted, "Some chocolates". Meghla said, "A bucket of popcorn". Binging on our snacks, we all walked and explored the charm of nature.
All the street lights got switched on and it was evening. At 7pm, we got into a cab, returned to our respective homes bidding the day a bye.
