A Smile of course!!

Looking up at the sky, shattered, Rehan tried to recall all his past moments that never made him smile. A poor kid, without parents, in a small village, he used to live with his uncle.

His uncle had been a support for him since his childhood. They had a cattle farm where all the villagers would come to collect milk. This was the way, they made money.

Rehan, with his parents' demise and no happy childhood, was not able to live to his fullest. He would envy others life and think the same for him.

Every morning, Rehan used to go for a walk in the morning. On his way, he would always find an old man sitting in the park and looking in the same direction throughout. The old man had a dog too, who wagged his tail whenever he saw Rehan.

A cute, serene smile would always appear on the face of the old man and Rehan always wondered why he had that smile. He was curious to know about the reason.

One day, Rehan sat beside the old man to know about him. The old man told him about his life that his children who lived in the city never came to see him, his wife passed away previous year and he lived alone with his dog. Hearing this, Rehan was shocked that despite his negative circumstances, how come he was so brave to wear a smile always!

The old man told him, "I lost what I was destined to, I am where I should be, my life is what it is supposed to be. I can't control my future and can't blame others for my loss, so why to be sad always and ruin someone's day. It's better to keep a smile always, so that it can make others happy". Rehan was fully satisfied by the level of contentment and peace the old man had. From this he realized, no one's life is perfect and we should always see the bright side of everything.

Since that day, Rehan started to be happy and creative. He used to be no more sad. He put all his efforts and creativity in his business. Just a smile of the old man changed his entire life!
