Hi guys! It's me Jeet. I am from India. I am a smart and intelligent boy and I come from a very happy, funny and brave family. Let me introduce myself to all.

I was born on 21st June 2008, the same day is my father's birthday too. I was a little underweight though but also very cute.

I have an elder brother who was very excited to have me in his life. My mom and dad were very happy when I was born, unaware of what the future had installed for us.

When I was just 12 days old and was getting accustomed to the new environment I was very happy but whenever someone touched my legs it hurt.I wanted to tell my mom and my Dad but the only thing I could do was cry.

But to my surprise, my mom understood that I was in pain. Nobody noticed this except my mom. I guess that's why they are moms and the best persons in the world. I love you, Mom.

Coming back to my story, as soon as I noticed that there was something wrong with me she immediately informed my father and he rushed me to see my pediatrician who was present when I was born.

My doctor checked my legs once and concluded that nothing was wrong with me, but my mom insisted that something is not correct. She checked me twice, thrice but came to the same conclusion. My mom was adamant and was not ready to leave the room until she got an answer. Finally, the doctor suggested do sonography for my parent's satisfaction. They immediately took me for the sonography and after that to an Orthopedic Doctor. We all were waiting for the result of the test in his examination room. In some time he received a call from the doctor who performed my sonography.

The news we all were waiting for wasn't good. I had a dislocated hip bone joint in my right leg. This means that the bone of my right leg thigh was not attached to the ball socket of my right hip bone. Hearing this my mom immediately became worried and started crying. But my father took the news strongly and asked about a solution to rectify this problem. I know he was more worried and tenses than mom. A thousand questions raised in his mind...will I be able to walk? Will I be able to sit, run, stand, etc???

The thought scared them both. The doctor with his many years of experience advised my parents to wait for a month. He suggested that since I was very small the bone might fit inside the socket by itself. My parents especially my dad was not at all.convinced by this advice. And I am very happy that he was not convinced. He immediately took me to a pediatric orthopedic the very next morning. As soon as the doctor saw my sonography he immediately diagnosed that I have a hip dislocation and he will perform a small surgery the following morning and I will be in plaster from my lower back till my ankles for a month.

Gosh!!! Imagine my parent's condition. But as expected again my Dad became the pillar of strength for my family. Thanks to my doctor I was treated quickly and rightfully. He appreciated my mother's alertness and said that this condition does not get detected until the child tries to sit or stand. If it was not detected then the treatment would have been painful and a very long process. Even though I was in plaster for a month followed by almost 6 months of a specially designed belt to be worn round the clock, I was so comfortable and didn't even know or feel anything or any pain.

I really am grateful and thankful to my parents especially my mom to trust her instincts and not give up on me.

I love my family very much...Because here I am not only standing on my feet but also dancing away happily, wanting to become the number one dancer and choreographer of the world...This is how I had a very narrow escape from having a painful life to a new journey of fulfilling my dreams...
