You See What You Perceive
You See What You Perceive
Am I my real self?
Or, do people just see what I project?
In the mirror of time
I examine my visage often
To be privy to the crux of the definition
For mirror does not lie
Nor does it support the illusion
It helps me go deep into the core
Mend and repair hurts hurled at the soul
As the truth is often harsh
Impinges on my ways, emotions and winks
Bringing me down to an all-time low
Hiding inside nooks and crevices of limitations
My soul peeps out to confirm
If time is ripe to elbow out
Commotions and confusions
Whether I am ready for the subtle revelation
And a blissful date with candour!!!
