You Reap What You Sow
You Reap What You Sow
He was your son, your blood
You loved him and cherished him
Growing up he always knew
That you were there for him
When he was a toddler
You held his hand; helped him walk
When he was a young boy
You played with him; gave him your time
But on the other hand, he saw
You didn’t extend the same hand
To your mother when she needed it
You didn’t give your time
To your father when he could have used a conversation
He knew what he had to do when he grew up
He treated his child with love and care
And treated you the way you had treated your parents
And now you feel hurt and dejected?
You reap what you sow.
