Will Is The Only Way

Long ago, there were stories,

Of how someone won wars,

To be successful.

Today, everyone wants to be that,

A dictator, a person in power. 

Wars aren’t a sign of power,

Maybe in the past, they were.

Its purpose is to defend, 

The pride of the nation, to protect its people,

Be a shield and not a sign of aggression. 

Why fight back? 

To tell we are no less. 

Why continue the fight? 

To make it clear; 

we don’t let harm come our way. 

What are we fighting for?

For peace and harmony, 

That is long gone?

There needs a will, 

To trust and adapt,

Concord with each other and co-exist.
