War And peace
War And peace
She stood there by his side,
With his head resting on her shoulders,
His blood soaked hands clasping hers,
With those hands unwilling to part,
The fate was pulling him apart,
With tears of love overwhelming,
She cursed those bullets,
That this war brought,
Making peace with the bloodshed,
She watched her love fade away,
With those clouds fading away I above,
She made her way to make hay,
Far away from the lands,
Of fiery flames and bloodhounds,
To the land of glory and prosperity,
To be humbled by love and affection.
