With invisible chains around our necks
With terror spread over every sight we see
Not stopping, we are incessantly running
Impatient. Aren't we?
The world's come to a halt
The mightiest of men seen on their knees
Yet their egos elude them not
Foolishly proud. Aren't we?
Too many divisions amongst ourselves we made
Too many borders we built between us all
Only to today see, every single one of them fall
Intelligently reckless. Aren't we?
And even after we've seen us fall
Cruelty sees no end, neither does irrationality
Finally united in pain,
Erroneously glad. Aren't we?
