Today, We Had to Decide

Today I and my friends had to decide

Let's not sit in each other's rooms

For gossiping or to play games

Though it felt so nice

Let's not eat food together

Despite it made us feel like home

And not offer things

Which we used to grab without even asking for

Let's not do those Zumba sessions in my room

Where we used to do funny moves and laugh

Used to turn in comedy show

as none of us would know how to dance

Let's self isolate and let go of things

That used to bring joy in tough times along

We are going to miss them a lot

They gave us reasons to smile & kept us strong

Today I and my friends had to decide

Though it may be tough and may feel sick

But doing our part is the only thing

That is right in this situation, indeed.
