The Stubborn Toy
The Stubborn Toy
My piggy bank, in the shade of pink,
Was perfectly spherical and round,
In the middle of it, there was a small chink,
And of a hundred coins, there was a mound.
There was my dog a little cutie pie,
He ran towards the piggy bank
To bite it, as he made a cry,
The piggy continued to swank
My dog was eager to put it into his mouth,
But he couldn't, Oh what a sad dog!
The piggy bank refused to get into this loath,
And together they made a lot of grog
There they were, waging a war,
The stubbornness between a dog and a bank,
Shouting, shouting, my throat went sour,
Who between the two, will get the first rank?
Now, I had to stop this adamant war,
But my dog refused and continued to fight
I couldn't bare this anymore!
My face expression was very tight
Then, to them I made a run,
But I realized, the tiff came to a stop,
The piggy bank had won,
And this messy lawn, I had to mop!
