Oh, I wish, I was like the eternal sea,

Happiness sailing like fleet of ships,

The morning dew and the torrid wind,

Exhilarates me with its magnificent hands,

The dangling leaves of trees hanging around here and there,

The rustling sounds of the flowing rivers from the towering hills,

The spots of dust tingling on my face,

Nature ventures through my day!

The roar of the Holocaust makes my day ghastly,

My heart pounded with a dreadful thought,

"Oh, will I not live any further?"

Happiness ebbed away from the depths of my heart,

Just like a sorcerer who turned everything dark,

I realized nearing death,

I could not fathom the reason behind this feeling,

The sparkles that I could see in my eyes were lost now,

At last, the time came,

I felt the blood gushing through my veins,

I had closed my eyes with bitterness and a word "GOODBYE" spurted from my mouth,

Behold! A voice from afar,

A voice of echo thronged my heart,

Open your eyes for I am here,

I see a view all so clear,

The green Meadows through my window,

Oh! Gracious! it was just a dream,

I see my parents lay beside me,

And I wake up like a lightning gleam.
