The Garden's Butterfly
The Garden's Butterfly

The dark clouds scattered above,
Blocked the rays of the sun's glory;
The noisy wind made her flight weak,
The odour around made her feel faint,
Yet, she hopped from plant to plant,
Courteously greeting the flowers;
The flowers giggled to her touch,
She was a kindred spirit, spreading joy,
Snogging each flower, petal by petel;
And the fallen drop from the clouds,
Anointed her as a new creation,
Clothed in strength and dignity;
Everyone in the garden liked her presence,
As she was the garden's butterfly.
