The Fighter Within!

Down the life’s tortuous lane,

I also falter while being sane,

Bogged down by nuances,

I look for soothing glances.

Consistently withheld by untold trepidations,

That question my inherent convictions,

Lost away in the wilderness,

Where I meet my lonesomeness.

Irrevocably stressing me all over,

The things that are obstreperous,

Negativity greets me at my lowest,

Making me lose my mind.

Shackling all my confidence,

Almost succumbing to diffidence,

The tryst with life and destiny,

Does bring in some positivity.

Even with a small ray of hope,

I realise love, faith and courage,

Turn us into beings,

We never thought we could be.

Refuse to just give up,

Keep holding on,

Regardless of what’s gone,

‘We – The Fighters’ always live on.
