The Cry Of The Mother!
The Cry Of The Mother!
People hustled by,
Typing away on their phones,
The cars passed,
And loud honks filled the air,
Billboards mostly covered the sky,
It was a regular day they said,
The city was alive.
But nobody realised,
Humanity had left their bodies,
Far away from nature had they come,
That She was lacerated,
She was tormented.
But nobody cared,
For the One who had nurtured them,
For the One who had fostered as her child,
Nobody cared
For Mother Earth.
