The Cry For Help

Have you ever looked at the sky listless?

Or maybe just zoned out in chaos?

Maybe walked around aimless 

Or looked for a friend around? 

Have you tried to stop your tears, 

As you bite into your arm? 

Have you tried to smile in pain, 

And hide those in crowds?

Do you write in the loneliness? 

Or just lay down in your bed? 

Thinking something might happen, 

Or someday someone will care. 

While you look around you see grey,

The colors seem lost. 

You are just finding a place to belong to, a way to be found. 

It's not the tears in the eyes, or the tremble on your lips. 

It's the smile that doesn't reach your eyes, 

That cries for relief.
