Symphony At Night

In the shroud of night, when darkness unfurled,

I lay upon my bed, with dreams yet to be twirled.

But hark! From yonder window, a symphony arose,

Whispering mosquitoes, nocturnal prose.

Their tiny wings, aflutter in the silent air,

Carried melodies of restlessness, unfair.

They danced upon my skin, a maddening delight,

With ceaseless hums, they claimed the night.

Their whispers, a chorus of the cosmic symphony,

Stirred the stillness, ignited my reverie.

I tossed and turned, entangled in their spell,

Their buzzing whispers, a nocturnal knell.

Oh, how they fed upon my thoughts and dreams,

Drinking deep from the wells of sleep's sweet streams.

Their hunger is insatiable, relentless and bold,

Leaving me weary, their tale untold.

The night wore on, a battleground of desire,

As I fought the insistent buzz, my mind afire.

Each fleeting moment, a fleeting escape,

But the mosquitoes, persistent, continued to drape.

Through the labyrinth of night, I stumbled and swayed,

In the company of buzzing companions, unafraid.

Together we traversed the sleepless abyss,

Their whispers guiding, their hunger amiss.

As dawn painted the sky, the mosquitoes took flight,

Their whispers were silenced, retreating from the light.

Yet, the night's embrace, forever etched in my soul,

A nocturnal journey, where sleep paid its toll.

So now I gaze upon the dawning morn,

A testament to a night with whispers born.

For in that restless voyage, I found my plight,
