sweet sixteen

The spring yet bitter time of your life filled with adventures, joy, enthusiasm, 

laughter, eyes filled with thousands of dreams touching the sky, a lot of missions to be covered....

still contradicts to "SWEET", has a messy room ,a lot broken ,a lot of private things, missing pieces to the puzzle,

nights sitting silently confined in the room, numerous restless nights spent on numerous thoughts.

Just a 16 year's who has a fantasy of being a doctor by just scoring good in Biology in 12th,

who is lovable by all and celebrates the birthday for a month,

wants to take his own decisions , going a bit far away from parents, thinking the whole world to be as good as you.

making new friends, hangout with friends ,wants to be treated like adult.

Neither you will bother about responsibilities nor the consequences,

being the heart of your family, all your wishes get fulfilled even without being asked,

being a crazy teenager butterfly ,neither you would value the morals of life nor the vegetables that everyone will spoon-feed you.

The age when gifts seem to be more expensive than blessings, friends seem to be more important than parents.

who wants to excel in everything ,every day filled with new dreams, everyday aspires something new.

You will even fall in love and thinks it to be the best feeling with no expectations , 

but just to be with him spending times together and you would never miss an opportunity to talk to him,

and when this bubble of love bursts one day, you would think that was just infatuation.

The day when you will need someone ,you will find yourself alone and unlucky in the crowd,

as usual you will question your destiny, "WHY ME??"

Has the misconception of ICSE Board to be the biggest stress of life accompanied by everyone that life after it is just a bed full of Roses,

soon you will realize the life has just begun filled with thorns, which has to be crossed by urself only,

But no one will make you aware the harsh realities of life.

You will always feel your opinion does not mean anything to anyone and sometimes you may feel unwanted,

you compare your body with others, and may feel urself to be ugly and useless and wants to have a perfect body structure,

and someday you would just sit and question urself when exactly did it happen ? and how you changed!!

Then you fall in love a bit more with imperfect version of yourself and realize there is a light that you have not felt, dreams that you have not dreamt yet,

and days that you have not lived yet and there is more of you yet to know and experience,

you will realize it's time to love your chubby body and brown shade.

You are the brightest flower yet to bloom in the constellation of life.
