Struggle For Equality

Today, the land which is known for its grasslands,

Where animals move freely and have the rights to fulfill their needs,

Had once taken away the rights of people to live equally…

The freedom to live together in peace and harmony,

The freedom to do their own jobs and have fun for themselves,

Were unfortunately given to only the light ones…

They weren’t with them,

Nor born with them in the same country,

But the people there,

Had no idea how this could turn out to be…

Here, the dark used to work as slaves,

Weren’t given the privileges,

But had to deal with it…

One day, the water went over their heads,

They need to fight for themselves,

And, at last, they won…

By making Mr. Nelson Mandela, the first black president of South Africa…
