Relief
Relief
Today I am feeling like,
Long tiring relentless days of summer,
Have ended suddenly by cool breeze.
Far beyond the ground across,
The refreshing drops of rain are showering relief.
It feels like a nice surprise, gifted to me,
I feel all joy, replacing grief
Hope arises from the aroma of wet sand,
Wish, its not brief
Now I realise, what SIR FROST SAID,
Making trifle moments of joy, grand,
"Miles to go before I sleep"
Because you are those verdant spread of trees,
As you energise me incessantly
Before I freeze
