A Family Earned
A Family Earned
Grown up with love infinite, I was pampered brat
Granted was love of my parents, that's why I always fret
When confronted gates of hostel, with problems so futile,
My home was like temple, which I never realized.
Trembling were my feet, the room so smoky,
After every wild party, tempering me were my friends, all on cloud nine, thank you ROOFY.
Empty bottles of booze, no cigarettes, jeans so tormented
Shabby clothes, my finances so devastated.
But then always there was hand,
THANKS TO DEVILISH FRIEND
Lending money, bike,
Spare cigarettes, BLENDER PRIDE.
Years apart, peaking in memories which I churned,
I realize, its beautiful family , I had earned.

When confronted, gates of hospital, with challenges infinite.
The words of wisdom advised, be practical or else be knifed.
All blank, I stepped in OT, terrified,
I found my mentor, connoisseur anesthetic, I was surprised.
So was there, a surgeon, sturdy as jaguar,
Petrified was I, to be hunted down, fearing a scar.
But words of wisdom proved erroneous,
All fear was just spurious.
Jaguar and python reckoned the period,
The petrified kid, was evolving courageous.
Mentored was I, blessed we felt,
As another surgeon, now elite, was in belt.
Touching new heights everyday, while every show we run,
I realize, its beautiful family, I had earned
