Rain

Rain

Dear heavens,

Let the rain pour down.

Let it smack the ground harder.

Let the drops bounce higher.

Let the roofs rattle louder.

And I'll be the witness of the scene unravelling before my eyes bearing your judgement upon me.

I'll watch the splattering muds in the road.

I'll watch the street filled with colorful umbrellas and people running in the rain.

I'll stay and watch as the sky clears and sun rays once again smiling down on the ground.

I'll watch the rainbow bands spreading with delight.

So let it rain harder today. I'll stand there dripping in the rain. Let me believe in the calm after the storm.
