Patriotism

In the land, we call our own,

The place, where our roots, are sown,

A feeling, that runs deep, inside,

A fire, that ignites, with pride.

For we are, the sons and daughters,

Of a land, that's been, our mother,

With each step, we take, we feel,

A connection, that's truly real.

Patriotism, is the love, we bear,

For the land, that we hold dear,

A bond, that ties, us all,

To a history, that stands, tall.

With each flag, that's raised, up high,

And every anthem, sung, with a sigh,

We stand, united, in our belief,

That our land, is worth, our grief.

For we know, that in our hearts,

Lies a love, that never, departs,

A fire, that burns, bright and true,

For the land, that we hold, in view.

So let us, cherish, this land,

And take, the future, in our hand,

For patriotism, is not, just a word,

It's a feeling, that must, be heard.
