Paradigm Shift

"People change" a phrase till date,

A transition after a long wait.

For the change is by the people,

Not themselves like a fading maple.

It's the paradigm shift when in action,

With pacts of ends and beginnings to sanction.

From wars to science,

We've witnessed how it reigns.

When deployed and waged wars,

The count of death in wake every hour.

What bound the world's shattering pieces,

Was only the hovering hope of peace.

From creating an earth-centered universe,

To not believing any of Galileo's verse.

It wasn't the change,

That was hard to oblige,

But the betrayal of truth we knew,

By ideas that emerged new!

Overtime haven't we seen the paradigm shift,

Which put the religion in question,

Which put an end to the monarchy,

Which redefined science,

Which proved theories?

It is inevitable modifying us,

It is invincible winning us,

As the world's not a constant,

Neither is the time to rant.

It is the soulful spark in passion,

Resulting in creative creation,

For it ideally created the world,

And has the powers to change it too,

Teaching us that,

Just because they're unimaginable,

They aren't meant not to exist.

And the paradigm shifts prove,

Why ideas aren't meant to rue!
